“Lean forward moment” of the week - Extending customer’s contract value 📈

I found this while looking to understand pricing. Alex Hormozi video shares a valuable strategy for increasing customer retention: "The bigger the head, the longer the tail." Which means that if you get customers to pay a larger amount upfront, their ongoing monthly payments feel smaller, making them more likely to stick around for longer terms.

For example, instead of charging $99 a month, you could charge $5,000 upfront plus $99 a month. This makes customers more committed and helps cover your initial costs like ads and onboarding. Plus, with high upfront payments, you can better manage your cash flow and ensure long-term customer retention.
