🤡 Fun Marketing Strats | ATL Networking Events 04/28/2025
🗓️ Metro Atlanta Events & Business Tips

That emoji on the title is me if I think I can grow my business without networking! Let’s solve that:
Hey! Andres here,
Welcome to the networking desk! Each week, I search the internet for events and bring you what looks interesting for you to make connections and grow your business.
I also start rambling for a bit and tell you about something that’s top of mind and might help your business or someone you know.
Here’s what we got this week:
Making marketing more fun
Local event list
⚠️ I want to promote more local coffee shops or good spots to have meetings, please let me know your favorites, I have been just frequenting the same ones haha.
Alright, let’s do this.

“Lean forward moment” of the week - 🤡 Making Websites and Marketing Fun
Lately, I have gotten bored with my own websites… I’d say with websites in general.
No, honestly.
I started watching the guy who made the game exploding kittens, and one of the things he said inspired me.
He asks one thing when people are play testing his games: “Do you want to play again?”
And although website are not usually games, it kind of made me think. Why can’t we gamify more things?
This led me into a rabbit whole. Where I sent hours learning about campaigns fundraising and gamifying websites.
I now think everyone should build sites people want to visit again and again. Pages that engage.
The #1 issue my non-profit clients have is not continuing to engage with donors. They are constantly missing recurring donations, and donors forget they exist.
Now, what engages people really well? Yep. Games!
One of the main perks of kickstarter is unlocking “benefits” to all backers as the campaign grows, milestones if you will.
If we all get to 10k, then we add X to the game or everyone’s deck is signed…

Think of this in terms of a campaign to feed the hungry. At 1k we donate 100 meals, 2k 1000 meals, 3k 3000 meals, and we will send every donor a shirt signed by the families!
The possibilities are endless, also notice how my last tier was not related only to the families, but also included the donors.
Money is not the only thing people can give, promotion is also an option.
In fact, some kickstarter campaigns stop asking for money at some point and start asking people to make random posts, share their photos using products, all for the same, unlocking new perks, gets everyone exited and the word out! The more the word goes around, the more people participating and donating.
There are a million ideas that people can implement to increase interactions, more than this limited email will let me write, progress bars, leader boards, etc.
My invitation to action today is:
What is an idea that would make your website more fun?
Please feel free to respond with your ideas, and maybe I can sketch some out and share here again for everyone to benefit!
Please guys do it we could be sharing those for a few weeks if it happens :)
