🔓Getting Unstuck | ATL Networking Events 10/06/2025

🗓️ Metro Atlanta Events & Business Tips

MY MONTH IS HERE! I love everything fall, so let’s get some fall events going, shall we?

Hey! Andres here,

Welcome to the networking desk! Looking forward to a new month and new connections.

I am excited to be working with P.O.W.E.R Atlanta for the following months to set up their website and helping them get more donors, after they became the winners of my giveaway!

🌟 Don’t forget to share your networking wins (or business wins and tips) to be featured next time!

Here’s what we got this week:

  • A tip on how to get unstuck

  • Local Events

Alright, let’s do this.

“Lean forward moment” of the week - 🔓Getting Unstuck

We all know being stuck is terrible, for me sometimes this means throwing myself in the couch and not wanting to get up for the entire day.

Sometimes, tasks get overwhelming, so how do we deal with that?

Well, this week I learned that you should consider writing the opposite solution first!

The concept goes like this: if you, say, want to get more clients/donors/users, first write down a list on how to make them leave. Then invert each point.

Weirdly, this reveals blind spots and new strategies that you didn’t think of before!

Doing this takes around 10 minutes and often beats hours of brainstorming. I was very skeptic at first. But it does work.

Example:

Real goal: I want to improve people clicking on my ads.

Opposite: I want people to stop clicking on my ads.

How to do that:

  • Make less versions of the ad (run one at most)

  • Make it ugly, no call to action, no way to input their information

  • Don’t mention who this is for

  • Offer nothing in return of them clicking

  • Make it super salesy, almost like a scam

There, now invert, and you get a list of what you should be doing! Haha, it’s kind of crazy, and some might be generic, but that’s why we put some thought into it, think like you actually want them to leave, and for some reason it is always easier to think about negatives, so let’s use that to our advantage.

đź’» Know a non-profit that needs help with Google Ads Grant?

Hey! In case you didn’t know, I make websites and help non-profits to stay top of mind to create more revenue. I do this using ads, funnels, websites, and more to get them to get more recurring donations, faster.
