Welcome to the networking desk! So much has happened this week that I am still processing as I write today’s newsletter.

“Lean forward moment” of the week - Marketing Trends and taking advantage

Hey, hey!

This week I had the opportunity to go to a marketing event that analyzed current trends in marketing, and you know me. I have to share some key takeaways here.

The most impactful thing for me was this “exposure” chart. This is what is being used today by their company, rather than following a “lead funnel”

Because of how people interact with products and services, it is far more important to keep them engaged and recognizing the brand rather than trying to get them to click down a funnel.

Here’s how to take advantage of this:

1. Create as many “touch points” with clients as possible with clear call to actions.

   • Social media, ads, website, video, photo, text, smoke signal. What matters is that you educate and show your presence to demonstrate you are the best decision.

2. Value first. Show clients how you provide a clear connection between them now and their ideal situation after using your services. They are more informed than ever, no information is “secret” online, the more honest and approachable you are online the better.

3. Make sure you are online. After COVID, consumers visit websites 81% of times before calling or reaching out to a business. Being in this market, I can tell you that social media is the next place they go to so they can determine if you are “still in business”

Just make sure you stay approachable and have a nice online image, if you don’t know if you do, ask someone you trust and ask for the true that will be more valuable than any amount of money they can give you.

Mom! I did it, I hosted an event :)

This past Monday, I had a few people come over to slow pour in Lawrenceville (great place btw, I will highlight them next week)

We had a great time and I think I will start to open this up for more people to come, right now I wanted to test the waters and see how it would go with some close friends and colleagues. Let me tell you, it was great!

I look forward to having them again and maybe seeing you guys next!
