Alright, let’s do this.
“Lean forward moment” of the week - Just talk to your customers 🗣️🙊
Here’s what I am implementing this week…
Well it’s not as dramatic when it is already in the title I guess 😅. I have heard this tip before “If you don’t know the customers, you don’t know what will drive future ones to convert” but this week I heard it, and it was just the right timing, so here’s what I am executing in the following weeks:
Calling current customers
Calling people who did not buy from me (this one is probably the hardest but worth it)
Using the data collected to improve my offer and product overall
I hope to achieve a few things, first is their actual problem and how I solve it, often times we say “this thing sucks because of X” but those might not be the right words your clients would use to describe the problem, so by asking and listening I hope to get the exact words to use on my offers and marketing from now on.
Second, ask them what they think about certain things I’d like to offer. Instead of me thinking to myself “do you I think they will like it?” I will ask them if it is something that would benefit them and make an informed decision. YOU JUST GOT TO ASK. This makes decisions faster and lets the business scale faster.
Finally, calling and talking to them also shows you care. You care about them and their business (as well as your own) this will result in them having a better perspective and even creating referrals. Now if they have an issue they know you are willing to fix it, and they will call you helping you make the product even better, no need for expensive research or digging through data, just a simple ask from the people who already paid for your service.
Hope this helps! 🙌
