Welcome welcome, although I won’t be here networking next week I want you all to have great conversations this week. Focus on Proof! Show your fellow networkers what you have been working on, and the achievements from your clients.

We all love great stories.

Here’s what we got this week:

“Lean forward moment” of the week - Prove it! What’s the likeliness of that to happen? 💅 

You know I am a sucker for little marketing details on small businesses.

Here’s a cool one I saw this week from the nail spa my girlfriend goes to:\

I love this. This is a perfect example of show me, don’t tell me.

I have learned by having a girlfriend who’s into hair, nails, skin and other body maintenance stuff that I do not do. That women care a lot about how long will their nails last, making this something they take into consideration before picking a nail spa.

This nail spa’s picture shows just that. It speaks to the “how likely am I to get this result” by showing not only a "before and after", but the amount of time you can expect the nails to last.

Now, how can you use this in your business?

I am a big fan of videos and pictures. Now, let's apply the approach they took at the nail spa. Instead of showing a simple "before and after" of that body transformation for your client, or a "before and after" picture of a yard for your last landscaping job, instead show what is the REAL result.

Why do you think your client wanted a skinnier look? Or that family a beautiful yard? Yep, to achieve other goals. Here's what to show instead:

• It is likely the skinnier person wanted to date again. Show a couple’s picture or better yet share the story of how they found a partner thanks to the program.

• The family with the new yard now invites friends to their house to hang out on the new fireplace every weekend. This is the actual result, they are now closer to one another while they make s'mores (that's your photo).

Because I used them as an example, I will give a quick shout out to Vesta Beauty Studio.
