“Lean forward moment” of the week - The magic of the number 37 in customer relations ✨

How hard is it for you to forgive someone?

And how about a business?

Well, Disney actually wondered that too! They researched how many “Magic” encounters are needed in order to make up for a “Tragic” experience.

That number is 37.

37 Magic encounters are needed to forgive ONE bad experience!

After learning this, I immediately started thinking about the amount of effort that goes into this, and how 99% of people and businesses are not willing to invest on their friends, families or customers.

I think we all serve an important role in everyone’s life that we touch, and we should make the effort to make them at least a little bit better.

I know time is limited, and we probably know a ton of people or have more than one client, but sometimes even a small thank you, a note, a letter, can be that magic that someone needed that day. Creating a magic moment.

Magic moments are not a marketing strategy (and it is difficult for me to not think of it this way because of what I do) but an action that comes from the heart.

Is the real action that comes from caring.

This number shows that because forgiving is so hard, why not make it the norm to make every interaction a magical experience? No need to be on vacation to do that-

My key takeaway for this week is to start giving value both to close friends/family and clients differently, if someone was willing to give you a chance to make their life a bit better by letting you be part of it, then let’s not let them down.

The business aspect takeaway is more good will, whether we want it or not, brings not only more money but more happiness to both parties involved.

Local shop of the week - NEEK VEGAN

Not an ad – just a cool spot you can visit

It is not normal for me to highlight a restaurant here, as I usually just do coffee/tea spots, but this food was GOOD! I had a falafel bowl, and it was amazing, also the falafels came in the shape of a donut lol, how cool is that?
